Life & Hobbies

Dr. Gbarbea grew up in Charlotte, NC but has spent the last few years in Boston, where she graduated from Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. While in Boston, she spent her time exploring the city and partaking in the many cuisines it had to offer. While she enjoyed the many adventures in Boston, she dreamt of North Carolina living. Now back at home, she is enjoying NODA, binge watching Netflix, and daily two-mile runs with her two dogs, Buttons and Oreo.

Continuing Education & Professional Memberships

Dr. Arora is dedicated to lifelong learning in order to provide the latest and most advanced patient care. He completed a year-long Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. During this residency, he gained valuable experience in oral surgery, implant dentistry, sedation dentistry, emergency dental procedures, and comprehensive dental care for the entire family.

Dr. Arora continues to pursue advanced dental training beyond what is required for dental licensure and was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2021. Only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Fellows and has completed over 1500 hours of advanced continued dental education.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Arora is married to his wife Harleen and are parents to a daughter. They are proud to call Charlotte their new home. In their free time, Surpreet and Harleen enjoy running, hiking, camping and exploring outdoors and new restaurants.
